👉What I really liked about our session is that you were very compassionate, which helped us feel more comfortable talking to you and you gave us clear steps to take and things to work on so now we have more confidence in moving forward because we know what to do.

👉It felt like you really empathised with our problem and were keen to help us return our life back to normal with the 3 dogs. We felt we were in the hands of an expert. Meg P.

👉Your guidance is everything we needed and more. We should have done this long before now. Can’t praise you enough and will highly recommend to others. Emma McPeake

👉The meeting was so well structured, I loved how you took control to work through a very clear, logical assessment of his behaviour points and triggers. The advice was very well tailored to my own circumstances, and it was all wonderfully compassionate and non-judgemental. Pippa P.

👉We found the session super helpful for all of us to understand Bella more and understand how we can support her. We’re eager in putting your advice into action and see how Bella progresses over time. It also very helpful to have the video to refer back when needed also. Shanelle A.

👉Our cocker spaniel puppy was constantly resource guarding (his bowl, sofa space, his bed) until we took your advice Theo which has massively helped. Hardly ever see him doing it now. He came to us resource guarding his food bowl at 9 weeks. Tara Appleton

👉I thoroughly enjoyed our session and felt like I learnt a lot of valuable information that I have continued to implement and seen the rewards. (Francesca Bumpstead)

👉Theo was really friendly, clearly setting out how she would approach the session and why. Her approach is calm and non-judgemental, and easy to follow. I really think her advice is going to help us be better doggy parents to Milo and we’ve already started implementing suggestions.  Thank you Theo. (Sarah Barley)

👉We booked a consultation with Theo as we were struggling with our adolescent boxer who resource guards his food. We can’t believe the change even after a week, there has been no resource guarding since we have put in place the techniques and steps we were given to follow. The consultation was very informative, we learnt so much and were able to look at the situation from the dogs side and why it was happening. It’s especially useful that you get the recording from the consultation to keep as it would be impossible to remember everything discussed. I would highly recommend Theo. (Jo Purkiss)

👉We found our meeting very useful. We liked the fact that you looked in to Baileys personality & day-to-day life to try and find the root cause of what is going on with her, rather than generalise her or put her in to a certain category from the behaviour she has displayed.

👉I thought the format of your session was excellent and a perfect balance of fact finding and suggestions for practical strategies. Really nice to have your follow-ups too! It’s extraordinary how an issue like this can be solved over Zoom without face-to-face contact.

👉My money was well spent with you, Theo. I wish I had actually spoken to you when Stanley was a puppy and prevented any major problems arising. Through you, I became much more aware of Stanley’s needs and how he was perceiving things. I still use that knowledge now. So thank you again!  Jessica Martin

👉Our session was fantastic. We can already see and difference in his behaviour, he seems much more chilled out. We’re respecting his space and trying to educate the children also every time something crops up. It’s been such a game changer so far. Lauren Ives
We found you to be comfortable and inviting. Well informed and patient in your approach. We have come away feeling hopeful and rejuvenated. following a week of beginning to implement some of the steps we have begun to see slow but positive progress and that it has been easy enough to implement certain steps gradually. Kelly Dowling

👉”Since doing this (following advice), Henry has been able to be left at home without one single bark, moan or howl. It’s really changed our lives.……. I can’t believe by changing a few simple things how much he has changed. He’s like a new dog. When I watch him on the camera whilst out, he’s fast asleep and calm……. I never thought this would be possible. We want to thank you for all your help and advice. We can finally get back to normal living”. Kirsty Williams

👉 I had my first session over zoom today and found it invaluable , I know I am doing a lot or the things I need to for my new boy Bruno and that was validated .
I had a behaviourist come over for Ronny one of my other boys just over a year ago and was charged £280 she was here less that an hour and I was left feeling judged !
My experience today could not have been better . Andrew Hunt

👉”Theo is an absolute Expert! To start off with, we never knew there was a difference between Dog Training and Dog Behaviour, until we spoke with Theo. We have a 3yo English Springer Spaniel, with what we now know is, anxiety and shadow chasing issues. On our first online session, Theo explained what was going on in “Barney’s world” and how to approach the issues one by one and in a logical sequence. We had never approached his issues he had in this way. Within just 3 days, we have a much calmer and engaged dog with a plan to help him become more confident and not scared of other dogs, bikes, etc. We have also found out that now we are using a Ball as a calming toy, we have an expert sniffer dog! Looking forward to the weeks and months ahead and our “New Dog”! Highly recommended !” Ian Luckett

👉As you know, I was really down about the situation with Jack. He is a lovely dog but I felt as things were, I could not look after him. The meeting with you was very constructive. You questioned, listened and helped without judgement. You gave me the tools and confidence to try different things for my dog and my situation and when I had to ask for your help again the next day, you made me feel that Jack is as important to you as to me. Thank you so much, Theo. I have already recommended you on two sites and I will not hesitate to come back to you for another meeting if I need more help with Jack’s other issues.

👉”Hi Theo, well what a week it’s been full of hard work but amazing, biting and aggression indoors tono aggression and only a couple of accidents in just one week! Thank you sooo much for all your help we are truly grateful for what you have done to make us and most importantly Meeko a lot happier. We really can’t thank you enough.”

👉  Thank you so much , you have given us hope. Gerry Burns

👉”We refer our dog behavioural cases to Theo and have only had positive feedback from these clients. We really like her passion, professionalism and her training ethos (positive reinforcement only). We recommend Theo for anyone needing help with their dog’s behaviour”. Alan and Rene, Potton Vets

👉”Wanted to say a big thank you from all of us for your great advice. Poppy is a completely different dog, her barking has reduced and she is now very settled and relaxed at home. We can also leave her at home alone without any worry as she puts herself to sleep. She couldn’t be happier!

There is a lot of conflicting advice online and investing in some professional 121 help is priceless”. Krish Vyas

👉“Organised a session with Theo at extremely short notice and just before Christmas to tackle some emerging issues with the children and our puppy. She was extremely knowledgeable and understanding and we promptly made the changes she suggested. Instead of having an excitable puppy biting people he happily watched presents being opened from his playpen and had a great time meeting relatives. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for advice about their dog.” Susan Murphy

👉I had an absolutely fantastic consultation with Theo last Friday and now feel much more positive about resolving the issues l have with Monty. Denise Dunstan

👉“it would seem you have sprinkled your magic dust even through the medium of Zoom”  Gavin Hay

👉The meeting with you was great. Makes so much more sense being on zoom and some things you knew before we mentioned, that we never knew could be an issue. We really felt comfortable and not judged for things we may have not done before. And felt really encouraged by things we were doing right. Lydia Richardson

👉After my 1-1 with Theo recently I’ve started moving in a different direction. I’m using clicker training. Mental stimulation. Calming techniques and everything that keeps her calm. Only been a few days and already I’m noticing a difference in her stress levels. Long way to go but every small change is a win. I’m feeling a sense of hope. And It’s really opened my eyes. Thanks. Theo. Myra Blair

👉Perhaps a good place to start would be with Theos genuine and gentle nature or perhaps with her wisdom and understanding. Theo has an amazing ability to really understand people and dogs alike. I felt great trust towards Theo from our initial phone call. When Theo came to meet us, I knew immediately that standing in front of me was the lady with the answers. I can’t quite put in to words how I feel about this remarkable lady. Theo is clearly a very intelligent, sensitive, caring and special individual. Bear, Stan and I have made some real progress since Theo came to meet us, even though our time is coming to an end, I can still feel Theos presence and I know I shall carry on with all the things discussed. Thank you Theo so sincerely. Blessings to you as you go forward and impact many more lives, both human and Canine. Lisa Stanley

👉Thank you so much for your time today Theo. The session was both incredibly informative and reassuring and we have come away with a clear path of the changes required from us plus we are full of optimism! The recording of the session is also a fantastic idea as our daughters have been able to watch it thus allowing them to also get the full benefit of the hour we spent with you online. 10 out of 10 from start to finish. Thanks again Theo!” Gavin Hay

👉’We used Theo many years ago for our Westie. Theo was fantastic and it all made sense and I would thoroughly recommend her. View the cost as an investment in your dog which you and your dog will benefit from for many years’

👉We found the meeting extremely useful, it completely changed the way we view Richie’s barking. It was different to everything we’d been told by trainers before and it’s already started working which is fantastic. It helped us to understand Richie a lot more as well and advocate for him as much as possible! Mat Cunningham

👉I wrote this in the group almost 12 months ago to this day. I was seriously at my wit’s end. I detested sonny and then hated myself for feeling that way. Spent nights crying lying awake wondering how I was going to cope. Fast forward to now and Sonny is the sweetest, most loving, hilarious little ball of fur 🥺 I honestly couldn’t imagine my life without him. the fact you care so much shows you’re doing an amazing job ❤️ someone recommended Theo Stewart on this post and after all her help, we never looked back. All of her reassurance (of how well i was doing and how much of a good dog mom i was) gave me so much strength and her advice was sooo helpful. I would highly recommend if you still feel like you could do with a behaviourists help ❤️ keep going. You won’t regret it.  Ashleigh Myers

👉We have made so much progress with these two! We’ve been following Theo Stewart ‘s advice and things have improved so much, to the point where Darcy will let Bruno sleep next to her Last night we had our first dog walk when both dogs were off their leads and happily walking and sniffing together. Thank you so much Theo! Lisa Charman three weeks later

👉Theo has given us great advice on how to make sure our older dog doesn’t get stressed and annoyed by our puppy. It’s early days but I can already see an improvement, thank you Theo!  Lisa Charman

👉Things have been going well with Ivy. We are seeing progress with being able to walk out the room, close the door, pick up keys etc. without a reaction from her so that’s great. We found the meeting really helpful. Going through Ivy’s whole routine rather than just focusing on our initial problem helped us to see how everything we do can have an impact and help her. We’ve been implementing some the changes you suggested and we’re seeing positive changes, so thank you! Milly Cole

👉Sunny 9 months old. 5 months later: ‘Your advice has helped us have an amazing, well rounded spaniel’

👉I just wanted to check in and let you know that we have had great success with Luna in the past couple of weeks. She hasn’t shown any aggression at all towards other dogs and seems to be back to her normal self. I have still had to take her out with Cara and the pushchair but we’ve kept the walks short with lots of praise and meaty treats whenever she sees another dog. Now she’s back to only wanting to play. I can even go back in the playground with Cara and leave her outside to play and she’s find but we don’t do this for to long. She’s also stopped being anxious around the pushchair and doesn’t seem to mind other dogs coming close. I do try to give myself some distance from the chair though and keep her distracted with a toy or treats if there’s a dog around it. So all in all a good result I think! Thanks again for your help and advice! Hope you are also well  Katy Hamer

👉Following on from our session I have followed the tips that you gave me and am now able to leave Rufus for up to an hour, with no barking or peeing etc. We haven’t quite got to grips with him resting while I am out but the manic barking has stopped and he wanders a bit but nothing like before. We’ve made a really good start and I can see improvements all the time.  Jo Deal

👉We are so incredibly grateful to Theo. We adopted a 6 month old Romanian rescue puppy who was very afraid of humans, and having to deal with a whole new life and living situation. Theo gave us the knowledge and support to really turn Luna’s life around – she is now a happy dog who can go on and enjoy walks, have strangers in her space, and even gets excited to see familiar people. Theo has given us so much confidence and instilled the importance of patience and consistency. Thank you!  Kat Dixon (29th Google review all 5*)

👉We found the session very empowering, and it gave us some great tools to help Mackie, and more importantly it gave us a great insight into why Mackie acts the way he does and this helps us to help him be the best dog he can be. Maria Squair

👉It has only been 3 days since our 1 to 1 meeting with Theo and we have already seen an improvement in Oscars anxiety levels when out on walks. Theo helped us to understand how how Oscar is feeling and how to spot the signs when it’s getting too much for him. We feel a lot more relaxed and we do not put any pressure on Oscar to walk. We now know that it’s not the end of the world if he misses a walk and that spending time at home playing and training is just as important. Jane Chart

👉Theo has made such a huge difference to our lives with Poppy. Her knowledge and calm and caring manner made us feel so comfortable speaking to her.

Her suggested techniques were easy to implement and worked quickly in our situation.

Poppy went from not being able to be without us (even just going to the toilet!) to now settling herself to sleep when we go out and leave her alone.

She was barking uncontrollably but this has hugely reduced by her being happier and more relaxed at home.

I wouldn’t hesitate in booking a session with Theo. Krish Vyas

👉Success story! In September, I contacted Theo for a number of reasons. My cocker spaniel puppy couldn’t be left alone in the house for seconds before being beside himself. And when id walk back through the door, he would go absolutely crazy (like he’d not seen us for weeks!) There were also over excitement issues which was leading to a very stressful dog mummy and daddy. Fast forward to now (6 months later) … we left him to run some errands today and this was him for the majority of the 2.5 hours listening to the Bridgeton soundtrack (string quartet music which weve found is his favourite ) super relaxed! This isn’t a new thing. He’s been managing since November for 1 or 2 hours but since Christmas, we hadn’t left him hardly at all just because of circumstances but he’s still relaxing in his alone time for anyone struggling with something like this, please reach out to Theo Stewart we (I more than any of us!) couldn’t have done it without you  Ashleigh Myers

👉I can’t recommend Theo enough. She really helped us with our rescue dog, Kali who had a host of problems. She helped me understand Kali and empowered me to overcome her issues. Theo is so informative and approachable and her sessions really work. We can’t thank you enough Theo (Michelle Latter)

👉I highly recommend Theo Stewart! She compassionate and has a wealth of expertise and understanding to help us humans, support our beloved dogs! Jacqui Barnett

👉I just wanted to send a huge thank you for your help. Since speaking with you we feel we have a much better understanding of Winstons behaviour, and the way he is trying to communicate with us. By making a few simple changes to our routine it feels like we have come on leaps and bounds and has reduced both his and our frustrations. Lucy Sims

👉Thank you, Theo, for such sensible and thoughtful advice! We were so worried when Pippa started snapping at our daughter, but having followed all your advice, she’s a much happier dog! She’s not snapped once and we feel much more confident when around her. The trust is restored and our happy pup is back! Kirsty Kinson

👉”We had a 121 with Theo that we found incredibly helpful. She is warm and empathic, and we instantly felt comfortable with her. After listening to our story and asking lots of questions, she was able to make many suggestions to help us. She also provides ongoing support for a small monthly subscription which I’m sure will prove invaluable.” Lynn Fields

👉Just wanted to say how pleased I am that I contacted Theo, I feel so much worry and pressure has lifted already and it’s only been a few days! I feel I know how to start working with Kai now, our 14 week border collie. The group zoom was really great, my first one! Everyone was nice and it really helps listening to others stories and gives you lots of tips and new ways of looking at issues you may have. Denise Kirkham

👉 I’m so pleased we did, like you say things take time, but we have seen a massive improvement in behaviour with our two dogs.

It has also given us tools that we can adapt to different situations to help us and the dogs. Stacey Whistance

👉“I recommend Theo Stewart to everyone who is wondering whether to take the plunge! We had an online consultation via Zoom with Theo as we live in Bristol. The session opened with an in-depth Q&A. She broke every individual aspect of our life with our dog down for us, forming a ‘jigsaw’ which when combined, made up the behaviours our boy is displaying. It suddenly made so much sense! A complete light bulb moment. We then discussed a range of activities and behaviours we can use to work with our dog. Theo has the most astute ‘dog brain’ of anyone I’ve ever spoken to. I was anxious and slightly daunted at getting in touch with a professional as I blame myself for a lot of my dog’s behaviours, but I didn’t feel judged once and felt instantly calm and grateful we had reached out to her.” Lucy Beyer

👉“Thank you for the wonderful session – we found it incredibly insightful and we will get going with all your pointers and ideas” Pippa Robertson.

👉“The meeting with Theo was fantastic. She is so knowledgable, and totally solution focused. We’ve been equipped with brilliant tools and exercises to help us overcome our challenges with Branston, and we feel confident about our next steps.”

👉Try behaviourist Theo Stewart . She worked wonders for my boy. Karen Holman

👉Thank you Theo for your excellent help and advice. We all thoroughly enjoyed talking to you, and we have already put into practice many of the things you suggested. Linda David

👉Thank you so much for your help and support. I really feel that we are making some headway in this short time and I’m more confident. Catherine Perry

👉  Thank you so much , you have given us hope. Gerry Burns

👉  A couple of weeks later: We’ve noticed a big improvement in Chessie overall. Thanks so much for the session, it was really useful. I thought the structure worked well and we got through a lot. Annabel Morris

👉 ‘We used Theo many years ago for our Westie. Theo was fantastic and it all made sense and I would thoroughly recommend her. View the cost as an investment in your dog which you and your dog will benefit from for many years’

👉 Since our session, Freckles has not growled once at any of us – a real achievement. It’s amazing how much a little training and better understanding on behalf of the humans can impact so massively on the dog’s behaviour’.

👉‘Theo is lovely and amazingly kind person that is super knowledgeable. She has really helped us with our 8 month old puppy. She’s helped us too understand our puppy and why he does the things he does. It’s a massive eye opener, we thought our dog was showing aggression but in actually fact it’s over excitement and following theo’s steps we’ve managed to find ways to calm him by engaging his mind and not over stimulating him with games of fetch for example. I can’t recommend her enough, she’s been fantastic and will be the first point of call if we need more advice, which I’m sure we certainly will. Thank you theo!’ Matthew Southall

👉The meeting was excellent, it was very informative and also fun, guiding us and pointing us in the right direction, before the meeting I was stressed thinking I had made a great mistake in getting Teddy, but after talking to you I realised that it is a common problem, I felt so relieved, not only for me but for the dogs, they are both enjoying the training as are we.

👉Your advice made a huge difference, and we are so grateful – it really improved everything for the two of them from the first. Sue Gardner

👉 “We are just taken aback at the difference in just one (and a bit) weeks! We can’t thank you enough for all your advice. I love the format the meeting is in as we have gone through and watched again and again, adding bits each day!”

👉Your advice was invaluable! Fika is a different dog and we are different in our approach to her. Shes not perfect but she stopped biting me after a few weeks and her recall is at about 90% so we’ve had her off lead quite a few times in safe areas with her sitting at pavements and coming back when asked no probs.

Everything seemed to properly click into place for her after a couple of weeks.

We actually enjoy spending time with her now! Rebekah Middleton.

And

my daughter are Fika now best buds. They are so great with each other and Fika is so patient with her when needed. Ellen has learned to use the same commands as us appropriately and Fika listens to her. They play together in the garden for ages, running around after each other and are always looking for each other. It’s so heartwarming and more than we could have hoped for

👉”just wanted to say how much you inspired me last night. I have started training ME. I’m so happy with myself!”. What a fantastic job I have and what lovely people we meet – people who care about their dogs.

👉Shelly – a week after out online 121 puppy parenting session:

“Hi Theo! Things are getting better…. She is now sleeping through 10-6 which is amazing we can get some proper sleep! The meeting was perfect for us, we were able to discuss all our concerns in detail. We have been really working on her focus with calling her name and then rewarding which is helping massively. The grabbing of our trousers is als getting less each day.”

👉Theo has been such a huge help in helping us understand Ness much better and to work out ways together to build her confidence and make her feel happier. She took time to look at the whole picture and not just where the problems were occurring and helped us to view things through Ness’ eyes. We genuinely can’t thank you enough for all of your advice and guidance.’

First of all – front clip harness and lead has been a game changer – Ness is so much happier on her walks and seems to love sniffing and exploring so much more! Plus the double ended lead we got has a good length (adjustable too) and so we can let her have a really good explore and sniff. I honestly didn’t believe it would make so much of a difference but she seems so much more relaxed in walks and actually sometimes is fine with walking a little slower and just sniffing as appose to our figure of eight walks always feeling a bit like a fast march!

The past three nights she’s not barked at all and has slept in her crate. There’s a noticeable difference to how happy she is just from getting more sleep. She also seems a lot more relaxed on an evening with us. She was never unsettled when we were with her after dinner and watching TV/film etc, but now she’s been lay on her back with her feet in the air!!!! (She reverted for a couple of nights, but last night was a good night again)

And it’s so nice not have the horrible figure of eight on her little face! Sally Anne Crangle

👉We approached Theo to help as we were really struggling to deal with our 14 week old puppy Barney.

At first we were not sure how effective a Zoom session would be, but it worked out well as we quickly realised that the session was to train us, not the dog. We had 4 sessions in total and each one quickly dealt with the issues that we had faced.

👉Theo mentioned in the first session that dealing with these problems would be like putting together a jigsaw, and small amendments to the way we handle different things throughout the day will all come together to improve our relationship with our dog. This has been a key part of our progress as we worked on each area and saw huge improvements almost straight after our first session. After four sessions it is unbelievable how calm and well behaved Barney has become.

👉Without Theo’s guidance, the relationship we have with our dog would be nothing like it is now. My wife and I were stressed and felt lost not knowing how to handle situations, but now we have the tools and knowledge to deal with any future behavior issues we may face… and if we struggle on something, we know we can arrange an ad-hoc session with Theo to talk through it and resolve it very quickly. Tom Parsons

👉We are so pleased we found Theo as we are amazed with the difference we can see in our little Ted already.  She has given us an insight into how he is feeling and what causes him stress but equally importantly she has given us sound coping strategies and advice to help us to help Ted be a happy, balanced dog. Natalie Sanders

👉My daughter and I had a one to one zoom with Theo , lovely lady and we covered every issue , she was a pleasure to talk to and made us laugh a couple times , which is what’s best I think , she gave us some really informative advice, she made me feel I wasn’t failing in training my puppy it was the way I was doing things she was telling me to try things in a different way, I would definitely recommend Theo if you need advice on training your puppy or dog/ Lynne Myers

Ruth Dooley

👉We are so pleased we found Theo as we are amazed with the difference we can see in our little Ted already, although we still have a lot of work to do.  She has given us an insight into how he is feeling and what causes him stress but equally importantly she has given us sound coping strategies and advice to help us to help Ted be a happy, balanced dog. Natalie Sanders

👉We found it really useful, your style was exactly what we were looking for (supportive, practical, informative, not judgy). David Haill

👉The session was great, we really appreciated that you gave us time to talk about (our dog) and her routine; it made us feel like you were really tailoring the advice you gave instead of broad brushstroke advice about Romanian dogs generally. Laura Payne

👉 “I just wanted to say how much we all enjoyed our time with you yesterday. It was incredibly helpful and valuable to us, and your knowledge and passion shines through. Definitely time well spent”. (Vikki Wild)

👉Myself and my husband had a really good online session with Theo today with regards to guarding. It put our minds at rest and Theo offered some great advice and strategies going forward which we have started already. Thank you Theo.  Claire Louise

👉Hi Theo we have seen a big improvement in Charlie the last few days. He is more calmer so will re.watch the video back but just changing little things have really helped. We will keep you posted but thank you for all your help. Claire xx Claire Louise/Claire Clayton…. Asking Charlie to touch gas worked well and rewarding too. Rich bought me a cup if tea, Charlie went to get up but Rich called him out and asked him to touch and rewarded and reassured and he was able to hand me the tea.

👉My little lad sooty ……used to be nightmare walking on lead, tried all sorts …..halty….walking in circles etc ….. but Theo Stewart

suggested about lead placement ……well bugger me…..have a look at this !!!! it amazing how much better he walks now !!! Life changing !! Walking no longer a chore !! Back to enjoyment for us both  https://www.facebook.com/725973478/videos/10158058446933479/

👉 “…we’ve already seen a huge improvement in her calmness around the house – she’s much less likely to be barking/whining/hyper, and has even been relaxing on her own in a separate room to me, which previously would never have happened! This weekend for the first time she’s even happily gone out for a walk with another family member without me (which was an absolute no-go previously!) and the general calmness seems to have made her much more confident out on walks interacting with other dogs too – she’s even been playing with other dogs!

In short – we had no idea that many of our behaviours were winding her up and stressing her out on a daily basis – and you’ve given us so many tools to “fill her bucket”, so to speak. We still have a couple of the training game recommendations you suggested that we want to try out with her, but in short we’ve got a very happy and much more relaxed pup. As we go through our journey with Noodles over the next few years I won’t be hesitating to get back in touch should we need support with anything – THANK YOU from us and from Noodles!” Lizzie Shelmerdine.

👉Thank you so much for your time today Theo. A brilliant session with so much advice crammed in! Joe Toley

👉We found the session you provided us before Christmas absolutely brilliant and have successfully implemented some of the techniques into everyday life now. ….

👉We have been so pleased with Winnie’s progress and have become very comfortable with her social skills with family members, including my young niece (although of course always keeping a watchful eye). We have always made sure that daily walks are not about chasing a ball, but about her doing ‘dog things’. I think this has really encouraged her to be more outgoing in meeting other people and dogs. One massive shock for us was how she became interested in her kibble food again all because we made meal times more interesting…mainly due to her Kong toy and a few other useful techniques you recommended. Joe Toley

👉 “The consultation with Theo was incredibly helpful. She took the time to understand everything about Betty, our home and the challenges we have with other dogs on leads. She clearly explained how thing we never thought about could contribute to and help resolve this issue. There was lots of really helpful information and having a recording of the meeting has meant we can watch it back multiple times” Greg Sutherland

👉Jack improves daily to such an extent that this morning, he put his muzzle between my knees while I scratched his ears! Also at the vets, he showed me he didn’t want to go by turning his head away from the vet when she came to collect him. I worried that he wouldn’t let me put the muzzle on but with a bit of liver cake, he allowed me to put it on. A few weeks ago, he would have growled at that point. I believe his trust in me is growing and my trust in him is growing too. We had our first gun dog training lesson yesterday – he loved it and amazed me with his focus on me. Gwen Flynn

AND

As you know, I was really down about the situation with Jack. I have already recommended you on two sites and I may will not hesitate to come back to you for another meeting if I need more help with Jack’s other issues.

👉For anyone still on the fence about booking an appointment with Theo, please take the plunge. She is beyond knowledgeable and so so sympathetic and supportive with any problems you are having with your dogs.

I have two silly nervous rescues about whom I have spoken to Theo on a number of occasions regarding the various issues we’ve encountered, most notably the first time in 2016 when the little whippety one joined us and caused all sort of anxiety in the collie x, and again in November 2020 when the silly whippety one decided he was terrified of the garden and for all of their issues she has always given me caring, well thought out, easily implemented advice and we (the dogs are I) are eternally grateful to her.

Honestly, just take the plunge – the peace of mind that you are doing your absolute best for your bestie is priceless.

Thank you so much Theo, Zak and Jerry are much happier because we met you, and so am I. Lucy Robertson

👉I thought the format of your session was excellent and a perfect balance of fact finding and suggestions for practical strategies. Really nice to have your follow-ups too! It’s extraordinary how an issue like this can be solved over Zoom without face-to-face contact.

……It is a great comfort to have met you! (Amanda Riley)

👉Google review:

“the past couple of weeks have been completely different, he has come in on command every time we have asked – since we spoke 🙂 we always have a little something in hand ready too. We have introduced his food through the kong, which he absolutely loves too. He has got so much better at listening to the point that he is off the lead, we have made so much progress in two weeks it’s been amazing.” Jenna Lord

👉We really enjoyed the meeting and won’t hesitate to contact you again if we feel we need any more help. Stephanie Kensett

👉There has already been a huge difference in Sadie’s behaviour since our meeting, which has actually stunned us!

We are just taken aback at the difference in just one (and a bit) weeks! We can’t thank you enough for all your advice.

I love the format the meeting is in as we have gone through and watched again and again, adding bits each day!

👉Thank you, Theo, for such sensible and thoughtful advice! We were so worried when Pippa started snapping at our daughter, but having followed all your advice, she’s a much happier dog! She’s not snapped once and we feel much more confident when around her. The trust is restored and out happy pup is back! Kirsty Kinson

👉Dylan is doing really well, he hasn’t worn a headcollar since our meeting. He is walking beautifully in his harness with the double ended lead. He sniffs now he wears the harness rather than headcollar, which is great. When we have had off lead dogs coming our way I have taken him aside and got the beloved ball out. I am going to use the ball only for dogs coming now.

I love the pattern games, they are super for settling him before a walk, if we see a deer, just great.

The meeting was great, thank you so much.   Got to hand it to Dylan he really is teaching me so much.

👉I found the meeting really helpful, it was like you knew him.  Karen Holman

👉 “The video session was really worthwhile, wish we’d done it sooner! Thank you”, Emma Hale

👉 “We’ve changed the way we are with him and he’s almost like a totally different dog. I found the meeting itself absolutely perfect, You got straight to what we needed to do and helped us out no end, you were absolutely lovely, friendly and approachable and would definitely recommend you to anyone who needs behaviourist services!” Ky Perry

I remember how we came to you worried about Ruby’s first night at home . The slow transition you suggested worked wonderfully – helping her gain much confidence around our home. To be honest we as first time puppy owners were amazed at how effective empathy was in bonding with her. Aparna Gitanjali

👉 “your style was exactly what we were looking for (supportive, practical, informative, not judgy).”

👉 “The meeting itself was excellent — really appreciated how much information and tailored advice you were able to fit into an hour”. Christine Sienkiewicz

👉 “It has been a huge help to talk things through with you and gave us the confidence to realise she was barking for attention and that we could ignore this! Thank you so much for all your tips and techniques, we now have a plan going forward and will be in touch if we need further help ” Lisa Ford

👉 “The session was great, we really appreciated that you gave us time to talk about Stela and her routine; it made us feel like you were really tailoring the advice you gave instead of broad brushstroke advice about Romanian dogs generally.” Laura Paine

👉 “we’re in a really good place. I came down to her level and let her tell me what she wants. If she’s feeling affectionate I’m there to scratch her ears and love on her but those times when’s stressed or anxious, I stay back. I’m able to get a leash/lead on her, we go for walks. I’ve taken your advice and use the walks as times to lessen her stress so she dictates the pace. I can tell she trusts me. I’m also less anxious with her and trust that she may still snap at me if I startle her but I can tell as soon as she does it, she feels bad and then she’s fine. I’ve recognized she’s never going to be the dog I can love on when I want to but that’s ok. We’ve made huge progress because of you. THANK YOU!” Jodie Schau👉 “I’m not sure if Theo secretly waved a magic virtual wand, but the session has been a great success.

👉 “Woody’s been great since our consultation thank you. You really helped us to have confidence in what we were doing.

👉 “It seems to be working for us. All in all, a very worthwhile hour.

👉”He’s doing really well….The children are much happier

👉 “A one on one consultation was like receiving a big virtual hug and we feel so confident now”💞

👉 “(My dog) is making progress every day since your virtual visit. I would say that we’re getting out of that vicious circle of fear that she was trapped into. Our relationship is getting better too👉 “My “one to one” virtual consultation has proved invaluable Theo – tailoring techniques to fit my particular needs has empowered me – we’re finally making progress!

👉 “Theo’s virtual visit was really simple and I’m already seeing positive results from implementing her advice.

👉 “Theo thank you so much opening our eyes.

👉I had a virtual consultation with Theo Stewart a few weeks ago and her advice has truly helped me help my Macie to work through her issues. She’s a little less fearful and her separation anxiety is a tiny bit better.

👉 “I got a 4 month old German Shepherd puppy recently and she arrived very fearful of the outside world, …Theo guided me to begin the journey that I didn’t even know how to start. I felt very supported in a very overwhelming journey. Sky has improved a lot already.

👉 “Theo’s virtual visit was really helpful in both identifying the root of the issue and learning about things we could do to avoid and deal with any situations if they arise, as well as looking at the bigger picture in terms of what could be encouraging the behaviour and what could positively discourage the behaviour.

👉 “We would highly recommend Theo to others

👉 “I’m so appreciative of your help! You are absolutely amazing!!

👉 “I’m not sure if Theo secretly waved a magic virtual wand, but the session has been a great success.

👉”Theo, I just wanted to say a big thank you. Yesterday I was close to tears due to a crazy biting puppy. I joined your private group, had a a 121, watched the videos and started following the suggestions straight away.👉I was on my own with Coco from 6-8am (everyone else was asleep) and I kept working on it and I am so relieved to say that today has been a much better day.
Thank you so much xx”

👉’Feel so much better this morning, like a weight’s been lifted. Even Barney seems different today, he’s happily pottering about playing by himself whilst we get on with work and school

👉It’s one week after our 1-2-1 Zoom:

Joey is a Pomeranian/JR/Pug age 17 months. He has resource guarding issues and is reactive to people and other dogs when out on walks.
“The meeting was great – it was really helpful to have everything explained clearly. Also we had been given advice when we adopted Joey but it never really clicked into place as I didn’t fully understand the reasons behind it and how it all fits in. But having it thoroughly explained really helped.

We are seeing lots of improvements in him… only one very minor display of aggression this week…He has also been much less reactive on walks. Still lots of work to do but feeling more positive about everything now we have the tools/coping methods. Going to watch the video back later for a refresh. (Rebecca Taylor)

👉Yes we have noticed he is getting calmer now as we feel much more aware of his needs!

👉I’m not sure if Theo secretly waved a magic virtual wand, but the session has been a great success.  We would highly recommend Theo to others

👉The units are amazing but a one on one consultation gave us additional tools, advice and more importantly reassurance that we were doing everything right ! It was like receiving a big virtual hug and we feel so confident now

👉Theo’s virtual visit was really simple and I’m already seeing positive results from implementing her advice. Plus, her ongoing support through the Facebook group has been truly invaluable. I would not hesitate to recommend her services.

👉Feel so much better this morning, like a weight’s been lifted. Even Barney seems different today, he’s happily pottering about playing by himself. The meeting was really useful and empowering and things are definitely heading in the right direction!

👉Theo thank you so much for opening our eyes.

👉The meeting was really good, not only was it informative about Chester’s needs but it really helped us understand the root of the problem. It was also great for peace of mind.
