Five-year-old Maggie was okay initially when they first adopted her eight months ago. The separation problems developed until they could no longer leave her without coming home to a wrecked carpet and damaged door.
This person had done something the couple, Alfie’s owners, had fortunately never done. As many other people would have done in the circumstances when a dog won’t give, this person looking after Alfie would have none of it and used force.
The lady then fetches Millie’s bed and takes it into her bedroom, followed by Millie. She gets ready for bed then gives the dog a treat for getting into her own bed. She goes to bed herself.
Immediately everything changes. Millie jumps onto the lady’s bed.
